Lost in Translation 2 at Derby Dance
Friday 12th September ‘08, 09:30 – 4pm
Cost: £20
Purpose of the day: to look at how far Derby has come with integration in the arts. There
will be talks on these subjects:
- How to get the best at employing Deaf /Disabled people.
- How to attract Deaf audiences and how to get the best out of interpreted performances.
- The future of Theatre in Derby and Inclusion in the Arts (by Derby LIVE).
There’ll also be fun workshops during the day to raise Deaf/Disability awareness, Access To Work
will talk about what help you can get to employ Deaf /Disabled people, there will be good
networking opportunities and food.
In the evening there will be a performance (this is optional, and costs £10):
Charlie Swinbourne will talk about his work in script writing and filming, followed by a Deaf
Varity performance.
