  • Social Media giant Facebook has announced the launch of its non-profit fundraising tools in the UK and 15 other countries across Europe. Beginning in late September, Facebook will start testing fundraising tools in five countries including the UK, Ireland, France, Germany and Spain. In early October it'll expand the test to: Italy, Poland, The Netherlands, Belgium, Sweden, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, Finland and Luxembourg.

  • In 2017 Ė 2018 Derbyshire Dales CVS have a pot of funding, which they administer on behalf of North Derbyshire CCG, Derbyshire County Council Public Health and Derbyshire Dales District Council. The funds are to support the work of new or existing community / voluntary groups or organisations that are working within the Derbyshire Dales and are in need of capital or revenue funding.

  • The Transform Foundation has funding available to help charities to develop an effective web presence.

  • The Ashley Family Foundation, which supports projects that protect rural communities and encourage participation in the arts, particularly textiles, has announced that the next funding round will open for applications in February 2017.

  • There are small grants available from the Commissionerís Community Action grant to support the Police and Crime Plan Priorities.

  • The Santander Foundation has changed its name to the Discovery Foundation.

  • The Paul Hamlyn Foundation Youth Fund has grants of between £10,000 and £60,000 available to not-for-profit organisations that work with vulnerable young people and that have the potential to widen their impact.

  • The Fidelio Trust welcomes applications for grants in support of the Arts, in particular the dramatic and operatic arts, music, speech and dance.
