  • After a successful launch in February 2017, Red Dragonfly Productions in association with Grist to the Mill are running Taking Flight Festival 2018 and are looking for new and emerging writers from British East Asian, South Asian and South East Asian communities who are interested in contributing and sharing their contemporary and traditional stories.

  • Applications for the 2017 Harley Gallery Open Exhibition are now being accepted where the deadline for entry is Tuesday 21st May.

  • QUAD, Derby’s centre for contemporary visual art, are seeking submissions from artists, collaborators and collectives who utilise Robotics or Artificial Intelligence in the production of their artworks, or those who are exploring the concepts, ethics and issues surrounding these subject areas.  Deadline for submissions: Friday 2nd June 2017

  • Aiming to open its doors in May this year, The Makers will be located in the charming tourist town of Ashbourne, known as the Gateway to the Peak District.   The shop has a prime location on the main street which runs through the town and will be an ideal spot to attract the attention of locals and visitors alike.

  • The Buxton Spa Prize is an open art competition to celebrate the town?s culture, natural beauty and heritage. Over 150 artists entered the third year in 2016. The aim of the Buxton Spa Prize is to make the town an internationally recognised centre for visual arts. The Prize is for artists working in any 2D media (except photography) who are over the age of 17 on 1st April 2016. The winning artist will receive a grand prize of £5000. The Buxton Spa Prize 2016 is proudly sponsored by ?The Trevor Osborne Charitable Trust'.

  • The CALL for ENTRIES is now open for the Melbourne Festival Art & Architecture Trail
    Each year 120 Artists exhibit on the Melbourne Festival Art & Architecture Trail in 70 halls, homes and gardens in the heart of Melbourne, South Derbyshire and we have approximately 5000 visitors, the event takes place on Saturday 16th & Sunday 17th September this year.
