Event information

Moving and intimate theatre performance told through the eyes of a brother and sister separated by two generations and based on the true story of a young First World War soldier. A compelling and beautifully constructed First World War drama, of a young Coventry soldier and his harrowing experiences of one of the British Army's most notoriously unsuccessful and bloody offensives. Inspired by his richly detailed family history, playwright Paul Nolan's vivid and deeply affecting true story of his great uncle, James O'Neil, resonates with pity and passion. A powerful and moving tribute to commemorate the centenary of the armistice of 1918.
