The First Art Bossing It event is taking place on ONLINE on Monday 22 March 2021. This is aimed at anyone aged 16 or over interested in setting up their own cultural enterprise in Ashfield, Mansfield, Bolsover or North East Derbyshire.

We’ve brought together four people with great stories to share of their experiences setting up cultural enterprises. They are:

  • Alan Lane of Slung Low
  • Grace Harrison from Kitty’s Laundrette
  • Alex Barker of Be More Pirate, and
  • Nonsuch’s Edward Boott.

We’ll also be providing information on what next steps to take in developing a cultural enterprise. This includes more information from First Art together with details about The Prince’s Trust’s ‘Explore Enterprise’ programme, providing business support, mentoring and potential funding for 18-30 year olds.
