Live at Melbourne Hall to screen The Super Mario Bros. Movie, 3rd Sept

OUTDOOR UNDER COVER CINEMA

One of 2023’s biggest films to be screened Sunday 3rd September

Let’s-a go!

Live At Melbourne Hall are hosting a party for the whole family screening The Super Mario Bros. Movie as part of the new Outdoor Under Cover Cinema in the walled garden on Sunday 3rd September; following the success of their screening of the 80’s classic Back To The Future in the walled garden earlier this summer.

Based on the 1980s’ arcade hit, the colourful caper became the first film based on a video game to gross $1 billion worldwide when it sparked a second wave of young fans earlier this year.  This unique kid-friendly event, in one of the UK’s best-known formal gardens, promises Mario-themed activities, video games, space to roam, an interval for toilet breaks, and Italian food and themed snacks – Mamma mia!

On sweeping lawns, it’s the perfect screening for little ones who can match peppy Toad’s energy levels.  Indulge in a large serving of nostalgia and introduce the whole famiglia to the adventures of Mario, Luigi and Princess Peach.

It has been a great summer at Melbourne Hall, filled of glamping, top comedians, music, films, and food, once again establishing the South Derbyshire stately home into a destination for more than just its iconic gardens.

Run and jump to catch your tickets for The Super Mario Bros. Movie on Melbourne Hall’s open-air big screen.
