Without Walls is looking for new partners to join the Creative Development Network (CDN) in 2025-26

The Creative Development Network (CDN) is designed for art organisations, festivals, venues, local authorities, independent producers, programmers, who are interested in expanding, developing, or strengthening their offer in outdoor arts. It provides opportunities for peer learning, sharing of resources and knowledge, networking, and connecting with other creatives across the country.

Alongside a series of meetings, workshops, and other professional development opportunities, the CDN programme is driven by the needs and interests of the group, with partners working collaboratively to share ideas, resources and skills.

AIMS OF THE PROGRAMME

  • Support the growth of an experienced network of outdoor festivals and events across the UK.
  • Provide opportunities to learn from peers from a variety of contexts and experiences across the network, and to gain knowledge and skills around producing outdoor arts events.
  • Support partners in building connections and new relationships with fellow festivals as well as artists, producers and other industry professionals.
  • Continue our work on diversifying the Without Walls networks, maintaining the diversity of voices that are represented, and embracing a wider range of influences and cultures.
  • Provide more opportunities for artists to present work in future and for audiences to access free, outdoor performances in their local communities.
