We now have over 150 entries over a wide range of venues in and around the town – and beyond! See Events for what’s on. Anyone can enter Buxton Fringe. Make sure you get in by Sunday April 20th in order to be featured in the printed programme. See Take Part for full information, including venue details. We are getting some very positive feedback about our simple online entry process.
Our entertainment line up at Springboard at the Pump Room, opposite the Crescent this Saturday April 12th features mini-performances from Utopia Unlimited youth theatre with their take on Gilbert and Sullivan, singer-songwriter Chris Milner – Journeyman and comedians Dom Hutchins and Andy Mycock. Everyone is welcome to this fun event with party food and drink from 7-9pm. Please bring cash if you would like to donate for food (or a brand new Fringe badge!), purchase raffle tickets or buy Fringe merchandise. There will be drinks available to buy at the Pump Room Bar for which you can use a card. The Pump Room will be decorated with orange flowers and performers are invited to incorporate the theme of spring into their acts. Free seed packets will be on offer to those who would like to get involved in the Fringe’s popular floral Hot Spot scheme.
Date for your diary – join us at our Programme Party at the Pump Room on June 7th. Entrants – please contact events@buxtonfringe.org.uk if you would like to perform at this.
We are recruiting for paid Desk manager positions, working shifts during the Fringe – read more here. We will also need volunteer helpers during this busy time. If you are interested in helping the Fringe in any way, whether now or during the festival itself, please contact our Vice Chair, Jeanette Hamilton via friends@buxtonfringe.org.uk
See our Friends page for details of all the benefits of this important loyalty scheme. Why not sign up now if you have yet to do so?

We hope to see you at the town’s Spring Fair on Monday May 5th! We had a great time at March 31st’s community showcase at Burbage Primary School and are looking forward to further community events and appearances through the year – watch this space!
