Derbyshire Arts’ 2025 website is now open to all!

Getting ready for Derbyshire Open Arts 2025

This year there are 245 artists exhibiting at 68 venues around Derbyshire over the late Spring Bank Holiday – 24th to 26th May. We’re really excited that so many artists have chosen to join us this year.

Please pay our website a visit, where you can check out each artist’s page and see lots of images and information about their work; there are also links to artists’ websites, shops and social media and full addresses and directions for each venue. You can filter by location, genre, disabled access and other variables using the Filter By buttons on the ‘Artists By A-Z’ and ‘Artists By Venue Number’ pages. If you like to visit artists in their own studios, filter by Solo Artist.

We’d love it if you would help promote the event by sharing this email with your friends, family and colleagues.

Create your own trails
Click on ‘Sign Up’ and create a new account (if you don’t already have one) – don’t worry, we won’t share your information with anyone else or use it for anything else ourselves. Once you’re logged in, visit the artists’ pages and click on the ‘Save to your Favourites’ button – these are the artists you can then use to create a trail.

When you’re logged in, you will see the button ‘My Trails’ at the top of every page. Click on this and you will see all your Favourites along with information on how to make your trail. You can start the trail from your own address or anywhere else, and create a driving, cycling or walking trail. Tick the boxes for the artists you want to include, then click on the ‘Create Trail’ button and scroll down to see the map. More information about each leg of the journey is given along with a link to ‘Open trail in Google maps’. ‘My Trails’ will work on your phone as well as computer, so you can navigate using the Google map.

Our newsletters
We send out two types of newsletter – one goes to everyone signed up to receive the newsletter, the other just to artists taking part in the 2025 event. This newsletter is a public one, so if you’re a 2025 artist you will already have created your account on the website.

Our brochure
Our famous, free to all, brochure is currently being printed. You will be able to collect a copy from libraries, tourist information boxes and many more places by the middle of April. In the meantime you can download a copy from our website by clicking on the button on the home page.
