Darley Swifts Darley Swifts is a project working with Walter Evans CofE Primary School in response to the declining population of swifts in Britain by focusing on the prevalence of this issue in Darley Park. Research by Derbyshire Wildlife Trust confirms the importance of the swifts in Darley Park. We look forward to the exciting launch of this project in early February. Groups of students will explore the lives of the swifts in Darley Park and with the support of a professional artist they will create mosaic artworks in response to their research. These mosaics will be installed at Darley Park as an interactive arts trail. This project is supported by Darley Abbey ward and Derby City Council.
