The disruption left by the pandemic has had a marked effect on our regular Arts Derbyshire Members’ Meetings.
The well attended meetings at venues around the county continued online which had some benefits, particularly for those struggling with transport or time, although I’m sure we’ll all agree that the opportunity to meet in person and to catch up over a cup of coffee can never be matched.
With this in mind, the Arts Derbyshire team has been looking at ways we can continue to bring news and training to our members, alongside some real opportunities to meet and network.
In 2023 we will be holding 3 hybrid meetings around the county, to help meet everyone’s needs, so please read on to learn more.

We’re going to get the new year off to a flying start with a new format to our much loved members’ meetings by encouraging guests to bring along an object, image or video perhaps which tells us something about them and their practice for a Pop-Up Exhibition.
Traditional round table introductions are to be replaced with a Speed Networking section with the opportunity to say hello to everyone in the room in an informal (and speedy!) setting.
The topic for the day will be led by a Panel of Invited Guests to bring a new perspective to a familiar subject.
Following on from a long break to continue Networking Over a Coffee, the Arts Derbyshire team will bring you their Reports on the activities and projects they are involved with.
Finally there will be a chance for members to share their news and updates in Members Noticeboard.
Each Venue has been selected to share an event, exhibition that is happening locally, or the venue itself, so take the opportunity to visit somewhere new or catch the latest exhibition.
If you can’t make it to the meeting in person, never fear! We are continuing to offer hybrid facilities so join by zoom to catch up and listen.
