Way Too Cool! – touring summer 2025. Book the show for your primary school now!

Ava Hunt Theatre are excited to announce their summer tour of WAY TOO COOL by Craig Christie, which will tour to primary schools and Derby Theatre in Summer 2025.

The transition from primary to secondary school is a significant milestone in a child’s educational journey. It’s a period that often brings a mixture of excitement and anxiety as children face new environments, different routines, and increased academic pressure.

Amidst these changes, theatre and drama can play a crucial role in supporting children’s wellbeing… providing them with tools to navigate this transition with confidence and resilience.

Way Too Cool explores transition, friendship, compassion and wellbeing.

Headteachers and children said:

“All children had outstanding experience” (Head, Dovedales Primary School)
“A bit disappointed it had finished so soon. I also felt happy because it was really fun.” (child)

Craig’s new exciting show WAY TOO COOL, is highly interactive, fun, musical adventure exploring wellbeing, compassion and resolving conflict within relationships.
Performances can be supported by drama workshops reflect the PSHE curriculum, encouraging oracy skills, listening, and taking care of our health and wellbeing.

At its heart WAY TOO COOL is a celebration of how everyone is on their journey of personal growth and development.  It is also a journey that supports your children, through the twists and turns of friendships.
