  • Children of Derbyshire are spreading festive cheer at intu Derby’s annual Christmas choir competition. The popular competition sees talented pupils from primary schools across the region go head to head as they sing their hearts out to much-loved Christmas classics.

The city’s popular annual festival has been extended to three days for the first time this year – bringing a bag full of tricks and a sprinkling of magic to the city centre on Thursday 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 September.

  • The hugely successful Hannells Darley Park Concert will once again be staged in the picturesque setting of Darley Park. It is one the UK’s biggest outdoor classical concerts and takes place on Sunday 2 September.   • Once again Buxton’s iconic Devonshire Dome hosts the Buxton Military Tattoo on Saturday 7th July 2018 with two indoor performances at 2 pm and 7pm. The show promises to maintain it’s tradition of providing great entertainment whilst raising much needed funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity which is the Army’s national charity.
