We’ve been so excited to get back into QUAD and see the doors open to the public. Over the next couple of month we’ll be working to see how our events can start to return to the building and being in-person.
We are still riding high off the back of the Virtual Mainframe Awards 2021. In challenging circumstances, the creative people and business of Derby & Derbyshire once again made us proud with their imagination, innovation and perseverance.
Could you represent your sector of the creative industries?
We are looking for a group of Champions that we can update on the news affecting the Creative Industries and to bring interesting and influential industry people to.
In return, we want those Champions to be the voice of their sector and share the information within their own networks.
To be resilient is to be adaptable. It’s a way of being that’s flexible and alive, bouncing with the stuff of survival: learning, evolving, and intertwining our roots to share resources and to create a strong anchor of collective care. Like trees in a storm, it means swaying instead of snapping.
The 1-2-1 diagnostic sessions are up to an hour of time where we find out more about you, your business and what support might help you to reach your business goals. We would then look to direct you to the right partner or partners in The Big House to access the help you need.
We want to help local digital and creative people find local digital and creative jobs.
Simply add your available roles to our curated jobs board – it’s totally free.
Spring has arrived, and with the days getting longer and lockdown restrictions easing, Hilton based craft business Crafty You Crafty Me has launched their 2021 series of Craft in the Park workshops.
Innovate UK, is launching a new competition, the Creative Industries Fund, investing up to £2.5 million in innovation projects. Micro and small businesses in the creative sector can apply for a package of support to grow their business.
For the fourth year running, Mainframe highlighted Derby & Derbyshire’s digital and creative community in style with another visually stunning hybrid Awards event, live-streamed from QUAD.
Mainframe are proud to be part of The Big House which brings together a wide range of support and care for Creative and Digital businesses at different stages of development. It can be accessed in different ways, from different partners, in different places – while still being part of a joined-up business support programme. It’s all here – in one Big House. This project is part funded by the European Regional Development Fund 2014 – 2022
