Arts Derbyshire & The Tent People Present Festivity: A Celebration of Local Talent

We’re thrilled to announce Festivity. This will be a festival of joyful celebration of Derbyshire’s rich creative community, brought to life through a new collaboration between Arts Derbyshire and The Tent People, funded by a grant from the Arts Council, and taking place at a number of venues across the county during 2025.

Taking place this summer, Festivity will be a vibrant, welcoming event designed to showcase the incredible artistic talent across our county. From live music and spoken word to storytelling, hands-on workshops, and a digital exhibition, there’ll be something for everyone to enjoy.

The Tent People are our brilliant collaborators on this project, and they will create a one-of-a-kind tented village to host the event. This unique setting will offer an inspiring and accessible space for artists to share their work and for audiences to come together in celebration of local creativity.

The Tent People are a Derbyshire-based company who, like us, are proud of the amazing talent within the county, and they are providing the perfect setting for our festival of festivals.”
