WORK - premiere of four artists' films about work, made in the East Midlands

WORK: premiere of four artists’ films Thursday 28 November, 6pm, QUAD, Derby

Free admission, booking essential.

6pm welcome drink 6.30pm screening.

Four artist filmmakers explore the realities of what ‘work’ means for the way we live today.

Dryden Goodwin, Jenny Holt, Esther Johnson and Adam Lewis-Jacob worked in Derby, Thrapston, Bolsover and Birmingham, each responding to a particular context, and engaging workers and non-workers in making their films.

WORK is collaboration between Derby based Animate Projects and four other Midlands arts organisations: QUAD in Derby; Fermynwoods Contemporary Art in Thrapston, Northamptonshire; Vivid Projects in Birmingham; and Junction Arts in Chesterfield.

WORK is supported by Jerwood Arts and using public funding by the National Lottery through Arts Council England.
