The Pump Room Tuesday 19 November 2pm – The Devonshire Dome or 6pm – The Pump Room

Buxton Crescent Trust warmly invite you to a free one hour presentation as part of their Arts Council programme of events which celebrate Buxton’s water and the reopening of The Crescent.

30 years of noise is an introduction to sound design for stage and events with Sound Designer; Tom Hackley. The session will also include a 45 minute presentation about the world of sound design, how to tell a story through sound and deliver creative ideas through noise. This will be followed by a Q&A session about audio for performance or installations. Tom will explain his story of how he went from crawling under the theatre floorboards in his local theatre to becoming an international sound designer.
