If you’ve caught the ‘back to school’ bug and would like to try something new (and make new friends) High Peak Singers, would love to hear from you. Led by Hannah Brine, the choir meets on Monday evenings in New Mills. The autumn term starts on September 25th.
The choir has around 50 members and sings a range of repertoire from gospel to pop, sea shanties and classical.
Hannah says:
“So many people tell me they wish they could sing – the beauty of group singing is you don’t have to be a soloist to blend together to make a beautiful sound. So many local people have now formed this lovely choir, who are making a great sound. Its a very friendly bunch, but we work hard together to create something we are proud of.”
