Q and A with Shirley Mann after Derby Theatre performance of ‘The Spitfire Girls’ on 8th April

Derbyshire author, Shirley Mann, will be holding a Q and A session after Derby Theatre’s production of ‘The Spitfire Girls’ by Tilted Wig and Mast Mayflower Studios on 8th April. Shirley’s award-winning book, ‘Bobby’s War’ about a female Air Transport Auxiliary pilot was inspired by Mary Ellis who flew spitfires- and more than 100 other different planes- in WWII. She will be sharing some of the secrets Mary told her including why she never had more than one cup of tea.
