  • Derby Libraries are getting mischievous for this year’s Summer Reading Challenge, with The Reading Agency. This year’s theme is Mischief Makers, focusing on the mischief and pranks inspired by and celebrating the 80th anniversary of the much-loved iconic children’s comic title Beano.

  • Details of this September’s 12th Derby Festé programme have now been revealed. The city’s popular annual festival has been extended to three days for the first time this year – bringing a bag full of tricks and a sprinkling of magic to the city centre on Thursday 27, Friday 28 and Saturday 29 September.

  • Once again Buxton’s iconic Devonshire Dome hosts the Buxton Military Tattoo on Saturday 7th July 2018 with two indoor performances at 2 pm and 7pm. The show promises to maintain it’s tradition of providing great entertainment whilst raising much needed funds for ABF The Soldiers’ Charity which is the Army’s national charity.

  • City Arts and the Insitute of Mental Health are looking for submission of artwork inspired by mental illness, or created by artists living with mental health issues. For our 2018 open summer exhibition we are asking artist to respond to the theme “Traumascapes and Landscapes of the Interior”.
